The scissors of the award-winning women
The 2020 Nobel Prize in Chemistry has been awarded to two scientists: French microbiologist Emmanuelle Charpentier, from the Max Planck Centre, based in Germany, and American chemist Jennifer Doudna, from the University of California, Berkeley, for the development of the CRISPR/Cas9 method for editing the human genome.
