2021: New paradigms, new purposes.

Every time a new year begins, we are filled with enthusiasm and new energy, which leads us to think about goals that will produce the changes we need in our lives to feel healthier and younger, more productive and prosperous, loved and accepted in the world we live in.

Having a goal isn't enough; you also need the motivation and perseverance to achieve it. The changes you want must be achievable—that is, things you can accomplish in your daily life, relatively easily. There's no point in setting a very difficult goal, because when you can't achieve it, you'll be back to square one, feeling frustrated and depressed. Instead, if the goal is ambitious, break it down into several smaller goals.

Our goals for 2021 are shaped by new paradigms; the coronavirus pandemic has changed our lives. Individuality is no longer the only important factor; the collective has become paramount, as has how we can help make the world a better place for everyone. Consequently, our goals will include not only personal ones but also those that involve our community. The awareness that we are all one makes us see how the pandemic we are experiencing affects us all equally, and that while we overcome it, it is best to remain united.

It is necessary to put aside negativity and start 2021 with the courage to achieve a transformation, using creativity, that reinvents us to emerge stronger from this crisis, and with purposes that mark the goals we want to reach.

Take care of your health.
When we talk about health, it's not just the body; we also refer to mental health and emotional well-being, which influence our daily lives.
During this pandemic, respect the health restrictions. Ignoring them is the most obvious health danger.
It's essential to follow a balanced diet. Foods and drinks labeled "junk food" should be the exception, not the rule. Control your intake of alcohol, nicotine, caffeine, sugar, salt, and generally any substance that is harmful in excess.
Moving your body is always beneficial; exercise helps maintain your health and provides a feeling of satisfaction as a result of the endorphins that are produced.
A balanced diet and frequent exercise will help you lose those extra pounds.
It's good to let go of negative thoughts and manage stress. Although experiencing stress is practically unavoidable, relaxation techniques can help reduce that feeling.
Identify with values ​​that help you be better at your job.

The lockdown situation has contributed to the paradigm of labor globalization. The use of technology in organizations has expanded, opening up different possibilities for those who wish to export their knowledge and experience from home. The most sought-after qualities or values ​​in a job candidate are no longer just professional qualifications, but also personal attributes such as:

    • Commitment and Responsibility to the Company
    • Positive and Proactive Attitude
    • Adaptability to the circumstances that arise.
    • Sincerity and Empathy

It has a positive impact on the world.

We are accustomed to creating negative impacts with our actions. For example, by littering, adopting attitudes that harm others, or simply not caring about them.
It's time to ask ourselves, what can we do to improve our daily lives and the lives of those around us? In these times, solidarity and commitment are essential. Let's support those most in need.
Recycling is vital for the sustainability of our planet and helps reduce air pollution. Simply put, we must adopt a more responsible collective approach.

Dedicate a little time to yourself each day.

Invest time in yourself. Exercise, get the rest you need, find time for your favorite hobbies. In short, dedicate some time to doing what you enjoy.
Cultivate good relationships. Make a point of being more empathetic and understanding, taking care of your loved ones, staying in touch with old friends, and making new ones.
Improve your appearance. If you start eating better, exercising, and quitting bad habits, your self-esteem will improve substantially. This is the ideal time to make a change in your appearance, as it will help you stay motivated and push past your limits.
Make time to return to that creative hobby you're passionate about, simply because it makes you feel good. If you've never had a hobby, start now; it will bring you great satisfaction.

Make the most of every experience.

One of the most valuable lessons that 2020 has taught us is that we must make the most of every moment, appreciate experiences more, and face them, without exception, with a positive attitude.
The future has become uncertain, which is why the here and now is all the more important. We would do well to savor every last detail of the experiences we can enjoy during the new year.
We are alive and 2021 is ours; let's maintain our motivation and will to achieve our goals. And most importantly, let's do everything in our power to enjoy it to the fullest.

The world has changed, the important thing is that we have too.
