MSc. Norka Alastre Betancourt
Norka Alastre Betancourt is a Chemical Engineer and holds a Master of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Zulia in Venezuela. She is a tenured professor with over 26 years of experience in university teaching and research. She has also participated in research projects and directed undergraduate theses. She is known for her work in food analysis and preservation, wastewater treatment, and environmental impact assessment consulting. Throughout her extensive career, she has focused on the properties of Moringa and other medicinal plants, as well as natural products with biological activity. Currently, she is a scientific advisor for Efika Health, specializing in the applications of natural products for health, food, and the environment.
