Fabulous allies for a healthy life
The use of medicinal mushrooms in the treatment of diseases has been known since ancient times, especially in Asian countries. The consumption of edible mushrooms is traditional worldwide. All of this demonstrates the enormous potential of mushrooms in the nutritional and health fields, due to their rich content of numerous bioactive and nutritional compounds.
A study conducted in an indigenous farming community in Mexico demonstrated that consuming edible mushrooms more than three times a week significantly reduced triglyceride, total cholesterol, and blood pressure levels in those who consumed them. Currently, their enormous contributions to the treatment of various diseases are recognized, due to their beneficial effects on strengthening a healthy immune system, their antitumor properties, and other medicinal properties such as their detoxifying and antioxidant effects, in addition to their rich nutritional potential and prebiotic fiber content.
According to all that has been studied to date, the regular consumption of edible and medicinal mushrooms in the diet or in supplements prepared with special mixtures of the mushrooms best known for their valuable contributions, provides a huge variety of benefits for a healthy and very vital life.
